Bohin Glass Head Pins, 80 Count, 1 1/4 Inch

These Bohin glass head pins stay in a seam through a fitting and still give you a clear colored head to pull when you press. Each box holds 80 pins, 1 1/4 inch (30 mm) long and 0.60 mm in diameter. Bohin makes them in France. We chose Sky Blue and Purple so the heads stay easy to see on light and dark fabric.

A glass head is the reason we stock these instead of pins with plastic heads. You can leave them in the fabric while you press a dart, a pleat, or a hem. The 0.60 mm shaft is a standard dressmaking thickness for light to medium wovens. The 80-count box is the sell unit.

These pins work especially well for garment seams, pattern matching, and any step you plan to press with the pins still in place. For very fine silk, we recommend testing on a scrap first.
