The Bridge Bag by Sewing Therapy is a two-size bag pattern with a distinctive curved opening. Elastic at the top creates two raised sections while allowing the bag to open wider when needed. A continuous strap can be worn crossbody, over the shoulder, or doubled for a shorter handle, without buckles or sliders. Inside, a divider separates the bag into two compartments. Choose a snap or magnetic closure for the opening.

Recommended Fabrics: Medium-weight cotton canvas, heavy linen, cotton/linen blends, denim, or medium-weight home decor fabrics. Waxed canvas also works for the main bag and does not require body interfacing. For the lining and divider, use light- to medium-weight cotton. Oxford or canvas can be used for a firmer interior.
Additional Construction Notes: Fusible interfacing is recommended for the lining when using lighter fabrics such as quilting cotton. This adds structure to the divider and curved opening.
